SELF-REFERRAL FOOD BANK

We accept anyone who is in a crisis. You do not need to be claiming any kind of benefit.

No! We are breaking that barrier for many who would not usually be able to get a referral.

We have made our self- referral process as simple as possible so that no one is excluded from applying. You can fill out our contact form via our website, you can message us via WhatsApp (07387925211) or you can call into our Community Hub & Shop on Bridge Street. 

Unfortunately no, our food bank is for individuals living in Darwen ONLY! Proof of address will be required. 

A maximum of 3 days' food supply will be provided at the time. We will include a meal plan to help you put meals together. 

The food we have is like gold to us and we will protect it like it is. Our goal is to help people who genuinely need it. All of our food has either been bought with funds raised by our volunteers or donated by our community. It is extremely important to us that it goes to those who need it. We do require proof of address and need. We will discuss this with you.
